JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — The family and loved ones of Sister Addison Worwood are asking for continued prayers and support as she remains in critical condition following a serious pedestrian accident in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Worwood, a missionary serving with the Tennessee Knoxville Mission, was reportedly struck by a vehicle while crossing a street with her missionary companion Tuesday morning. According to her family, the two missionaries were in a crosswalk when the driver did not see Addison.

Following the accident, Addison’s parents traveled to Tennessee to be by her side as she continues receiving intensive medical treatment.
