He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria L. Nunez and Maria Arteaga, Jorge A. Lopez, nephew Gabriel Nunez and niece Briella Hernandez, according to the family obituary.

Funeral services for Victor Alonzo Lopez will begin Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel.

- Rosary: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24
- Family and friends' tributes: Following the Rosary at the funeral home
- Holy Mass: 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland, Texas
- Celebrant: Father Rodney White
- Reception: Following Mass at St. Stephen's Catholic Church Banquet Hall, 4601 Neely Ave., Midland, TX 79707
